Marine system solution - case study

The demand: A communication system for controlling the operation of a crane for launching and raising a robot service submarine on a service ship for a gas reservoir.

The basic requirement - no infrastructure can be added between the decks - existing infrastructure must be used.

Solution: using Clearcom's Encore Partyline solution (unified user channels) user stations type KB702 were distributed between the decks. This has been achieved on the existing IT infrastructure utilizing CLEARCOM LQ advanced interface units on each floor.

In addition, a FREESPEAK II wireless system with reception and transmission distribution on all decks and six portable units for the crew.
